You Don’t Care and Why Should You?
You criticize everything she does.
You criticize everything she says.
You criticize everything she wears.
You criticize her for doing too much.
You criticize her for not doing enough.
You criticize her for listening attentively, because according to you, she is fake.
You criticize her because she is always smiling, and according to you, no one is ever that happy.
You criticize her when she said she is black.
You criticize her when she said she is white.
You criticize her because one parent is black and the other is white.
You criticize her because according to you, today she looks whiter than black.
You criticize her because she marries the man of her dreams.
You criticize her for loving her husband and showing it publicly.
You say she is pretending and their marriage will soon be dissolved.
You criticize her because she wears expensive clothes.
You criticize her when she wears affordable clothes or jewelry.
You criticize her because she doesn’t respond to your criticisms.
You criticize her because she didn’t fall apart every time you decimated her character.
But when she finally spoke about the pain your criticisms have inflicted upon her heart, you criticize her for being weak and falling apart.
I know that I am not you and you have to do what’s best for you.
But I am sure glad she holds herself higher than the standards you have set for her.
So, while you continue to criticize her, she will continue to be the Duchess of Sussex.

Beautiful!!
I love this! I don’t know that much about her but I always feel bad for royalties because of how the press treats them.
What a beautiful poem that speaks to the real issue of being critical of others.
Hi Tiffany, thanks for taking a moment to respond I appreciate your feedback. It is indeed very sad but real place we find ourselves in today’s society. We have to intentional with the things we say about others. Love is always better than hate.
