God will allow us to fall into a ditch if that’s what it takes to save us. But I encourage you to see your situation as a temporary means to an end.
“No temptation [regardless of its source] has overtaken or enticed you that is not common to human experience [nor is any temptation unusual or beyond human resistance]; but God is faithful [to His word.” “He is compassionate and trustworthy], and He will not let you be tempted beyond your ability [to resist], but along with the temptation He [has in the past and is now and] will [always] provide the way out as well, so that you will be able to endure it [without yielding, and will overcome temptation with joy].” 1 Corinthians 10:13-14 Amplified Bible (AMP)
When life is hard, it can sometimes be difficult to really find any joy or appreciation in anything at all. However, 1 Thessalonians 5:18 reminds us that in every thing, we should give thanks; because the experience that we are going through is the will of God as it relates to us. I know that perhaps you might just be thinking that God doesn’t really love you, because if He really did, then He would not allow “bad” things to be happening to you right now.
Remember the life of Job! He was faithful to God and worshipped his Creator, even when his entire world was falling apart all around him. He gave thanks through it all, but he only accomplished that great feat because of his great faith.
Father, today we pray that our faith will arise and ultimately help us to see ourselves through the loving eyes of a Father who truly cares about us. Amen!🙏
May God Abundantly Bless You,
Shauna.
