Statement of Faith

I BELIEVE in one God: Father Son, and Holy Spirit, a unity of three coeternal Persons.
I BELIEVE in the Holy Scriptures, Old and New Testaments, that they were given by divine inspiration
I BELIEVE that Christians are called to be God’s stewards, entrusted by Him with time and opportunities, abilities and possessions, and the blessings of the earth and its resources
I BELIEVE that Christians are called to be godly people who think, feel, and act in harmony with biblical principles in all aspects of personal and social life
I BELIEVE that the church is one body with many members, called from every nation, kindred, tongue, and people
I BELIEVE that God is just and merciful and that He has called me to be His.
I BELIEVE that God loves me and that He has personal knowledge of me
I BELIEVE and trust in Jesus Christ and share in His ministry to teach, bless, heal, bind-up the broken-hearted and preach release to the captive.

I am Sherita Thompson and I am happy you stopped by. I am a Christian, a wife, and mom of three beautiful children: Josiah, James, and Jade. I started this blog to encourage other wives and moms who are struggling and at times overwhelmed by the cares and chaos of motherhood and wifely duties.

God has led me to this platform during what was suppose to be the most difficult time in my marriage, but instead, He showed me that His plans, timing, and ways are perfect. Hence, the foundational scripture upon which I begin sharing my story: “If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.” Matthew 21:22.

It is my hope that my message of trials, failures, victories, and healing will minister to every wife and mom and that she will be encouraged and inspired to trust God and find purpose, peace and hope in His promises. Sherita.
